SUMMER AG INSTITUTE

How is climate change impacting farmers? What are farmers, scientists, and agribusinesses doing to ensure our food supply during droughts and other weather disasters? What is Climate Smart Agriculture? Through farm and business tours, expert speakers, and ag literacy resources, teachers will gather tools to broaden student understanding of local farming, the larger ag industry, and how both impact our daily lives. Our 2025 SAI is open to K-12 teachers. 

When: June 16, 17, 18 & 20 

Where:   Kendall County Soil & Water Conservation District, Will County Farm Bureau, Lasalle County Farm Bureau, Kendall-Grundy Farm Bureau, and area tour sites

Registration & Scholarship Application:  

Credit & Cost: Teachers may earn 6 PD credits each day have a chance to have fun and enjoy the outdoors. You can register for 1 or all 3 days of the 2025 Summer Ag Institute.
